Trane SEN1951 Flame Sensor

The Trane SEN1951 flame sensor is a crucial part of your HVAC system’s safety. Gas furnaces would be unsafe and inefficient without this sensor. It keeps a close eye on the flame with the burner unit. It has a 30" cable for easy installation and quick-connect terminals for easy electrical connections. Ultraviolet light technology detects the presence or absence of a flame and sends a signal to the furnace control board. The system runs normally if a flame is detected. But if the flame is extinguished or the sensor triggers a safety shutdown that prevents gas passage to the burner.
