Trane SEN0007 Flame Sensor

The Trane SEN0007 unit here described is a safety part integrated with Trane heating and cooling equipment, in particular gas furnaces and boilers. It plays the role of a flame sensor in ensuring that the appropriate operation of the chamber is achieved due to the identification of flame within the combustion chamber. This sensor is generally operated with the use of ultraviolet (UV) light for effective functioning. Of these flames, a flame emits UV radiation during combustion. To demonstrate that the required light is detectable by this, it is fitted with a UV sensor. If a flame is burning properly a flame sensor sends the signal to the HVAC control board.
