The Ruskin FL165-B Fusible Link is a temperature-sensitive linkage that separates or releases when exposed to a specified heat level. It is installed within fire and airflow control assemblies to interrupt mechanical connection once elevated temperature conditions are reached. In HVAC systems, it is used in fire dampers and air control dampers within duct networks, where it supports compartmental separation during abnormal heat rise conditions.
