The Fireye 48PT2-1016 Infrared Scanner 16' is a burning component used to monitor the presence of flames when the burner is in HVAC systems. It applied an infrared sensing element, which is placed at a certain distance to constantly check the infrared energy produced by the flame and transmit a signal to a control module in the system. Mounted in the burner compartment and linked to the control circuitry, it allows the flame to be checked correctly and allows the automatic shutdown of safety system where flame conditions are not met. It maintains an adequate combustion.
