The Carrier EXPXXFIL0024 is an Expandable Media Air Filter, intended to enhance the quality of air in the entire house. This pleated filter is made from a special material that captures only pollen, dust, and other airborne particles when air passes through the HVAC system. The expandable design means it can be easily installed within the air handler cabinet and provide clean air throughout the home. They are available in 5” nominal thickness but due to the expandable nature, this measure can change slightly. By so doing, you can assist in enhancing IAQ, and optimal utilization of the HVAC equipment.
