Trane EXC2074 Heat Exchanger

The Trane EXC2074 Heat Exchanger is a key part that is involved with the heat transfer in your Trane HVAC system, is approximately 48 inches in length. This heat exchanger is a closed loop as opposed to other conventional methods that utilize flames or water boilers. The internal tubes of the exchanger transport a hot fluid, often water from the combustion or furnace. On the other hand, cold air or water circulates through different passages in the device independently. The amounts of these fluids are often close which allows for ease of heat transfer. When the hotter fluid is taken through the Trane EXC2074, thermal energy converts the cooler fluid and thereby raises its temperature.
