The Trane EXC2073 Heat Exchanger part ensures correct heat exchange in your Trane HVAC system. A well-constructed exchanger is used to exchange heat between two fluids without the fluids coming into direct contact with each other. This exchanger is a closed system, unlike the conventional methods that employ open flames or water boilers. The hotter fluid goes through the internal tubes of the exchanger while cooler fluid passes through channels provided in the unit. These fluids are in close contact with one another, therefore heat transfer is not a problem.
