Trane EXC1405 Heat Exchanger

The Trane EXC1405 Heat Exchanger is one of the components that ensure that heat exchange in the Trane HVAC system occurs efficiently, this particular heat exchanger is approximately 34” in length. This is a closed-system heat exchanger like the conventional methods of using open flames or water boilers. Fluid, normally water, or heated refrigerant, with higher temperature, is inside the tubes of the internal exchanger. At the same time, cool air or water passes through other passages in the unit body as a separate system. These fluids run close to one another thus facilitating heat transfer. The hot fluid in the Trane EXC1405 on the other hand transfers heat to a cooler fluid thus increasing its temperature.
