The Carrier HK46ER248 ECM Motor Module is behind the airflow in specific Carrier HVAC systems. As for the ECM, it has an intelligent control board to control its speed and its operation is different from standard motors. This also makes it possible to vary the speed at which the fan is running, giving you the amount of airflow you require and more. The HK46ER248 is 3/4 horse power at 230V and has a frequency of 50/60 Hz. It has a counter clockwise turning and also has a surge protector for extra durability. With accurate control of speed, the ECM motor module provides better air flow, comfort and possibly lower energy use than the conventional motors.
