Eclipse 100050-1 Flame Sensor Rod 237 mm 4 mm is used to monitor the existence of flame in the combustion process in HVAC systems. It works by sending a projection into the burner and generating an electrical signal when a flame is in place to allow the control system to confirm the safe ignition and sustained combustion. Fitted by threading the 0.5" NPT connection into the combustion chamber and wiring to the burner control module, it allows to enhance safety and proper sequencing. It aids in the effective monitoring, of flames and prevents an unsafe condition.
