The Carrier EA680035 Thermal Expansion Valve is a component that is used in the air conditioning systems in particular in the air conditioner and refrigeration. The expansion valve also regulates the flow of coolant to be circulated by the system or the quantity of refrigerant due to passage depending on the existing temperature. When the coolant passes from the evaporator coil this TXV opens and admits more of the refrigerant into the evaporator. When the refrigerant is taking heat and getting hot, the TXV restricts the flow to prevent the liquid coolant from entering the compressor. This makes the system perform to the optimum since 1liquid refrigerant can damage the compressor and the TXV prevents it.
