AFE18-60A
The Amana-Goodman AFE18-60A Dual Fuel Control is a complex system intended for properly controlling heating and cooling in houses fitted with a heat pump and an additional heating system, usually a furnace or a boiler. This intelligent controller effectively alternates between the two systems depending on the outside temperature, inside temperature, and other costs to provide better efficiency and comfort. During mild weather, the heat pump is used most of the time because it is usually more efficient than other systems. However, during a cold weather when the heat pump is not efficient the system switches to the backup heater to keep the indoor environment warm.
