Rheem-Ruud AS-54500-01 Drain Pan Assembly

The Rheem-Ruud AS-54500-01 Drain Pan Assembly is an accessory that is designed for draining condensation in the right manner in HVAC units. This is actually a moderately small drain pan with the length of 18” and width of 17”. Intended for use with Rheem and Ruud HVAC systems, the drain pan is useful in eliminating large volumes of water that should not be in the system to prevent formation of water on the equipment. This drain pan assembly works in a manner whereby it gathers the condensate that is formed at the cooling stage. It is also expelled through the built-in drain and away from the HVAC unit that may cause an overflow leading to mold, structural and operational inefficiency.
