Carrier HH18HA280 Defrost Thermostat L80°F-50°F

Carrier HH18HA280 Defrost Thermostat monitors temperature and changes its electrical status when the specified thresholds are reached, supporting defrost control in HVAC systems. Its sensing element responds to temperature at the monitored point and actuates the thermostat contacts as the temperature crosses the switching points. The thermostat has an 80F cut-in and 50F cut-out setting establishing the temperature range for its switching action. This temperature-responsive control coordinates the connected defrost circuit with changing equipment conditions, supporting consistent defrost operation consistently across the equipment cycle.
