The Daikin-McQuay 4017407 DC Fan-Motor Assembly is essentially a fan and motor combination, that is intended for proper airflow and cooling of numerous HVAC systems such as air handlers, chillers or condensers. This assembly uses a brushless DC motor which makes the energy consumption high and the operation quiet as compared to the normal motors. Working Concept involves converting electrical energy to mechanical energy, a motor that turns the blades to give proper air circulation. This design also enables it to be easily installed in new systems and can also be used in existing systems.
