The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 056509 Suction Filter Drier is a contamination control part that removes moisture, acids, debris and other unwanted particles from the refrigerant returning through the suction line. The 3/4" ODF connections, 16 cubic inches of desiccant capacity and 500 PSI pressure rating define its connection size, moisture-absorbing volume and maximum working pressure. Inside the shell desiccant and filtering media clean the circulating refrigerant before it reaches the components in HVAC systems.
