Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 047105 Automatic Thermal Expansion Valve Angle Body 1/4" x 3/8" ODF

The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 047105 Automatic Thermal Expansion Valve modulates the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator by adjusting its internal flow opening in response to changing system conditions. The angle-body design positions the 1/4" x 3/8" ODF connections at the required piping interfaces, allowing the valve to be fitted into the refrigerant line. The valve is responsive to the evaporator conditions and meters the refrigerant supply through the cooling circuit in HVAC systems. This controlled flow regulates refrigerant feed in line with evaporator needs and maintains the desired superheat level during operation. The valve automatically adjusts to continuously meter refrigerant as system conditions change.
