Trane COM13126 Compressor 3.17Ton 230V R-22

The Trane COM13126 Compressor is a robust product for applications in air conditioning, using R-22 refrigerant. A highly compact, fully enclosed (hermetic) structure made of cast iron. Unlike the piston type of compressor, this Trane compressor operates through the scroll method. In the sealed housing, two counter-rotating scrolls work as a pump that compresses the refrigerant gas to produce high pressure. This design gives a 3.17-ton capacity (38,000 BTUH) that is suitable for handling moderate cooling loads. Leak-free connections for refrigerant circulation are secured by brazed stub tubes.
