Trane COM12498 Compressor

The Trane COM12498 Compressor is a robust machine suitable for cooling medium commercial areas or large residential buildings with using R-410A refrigerant. A well-constructed, self-contained unit that is resistant to the outside environment (hermetic) made from strong materials. Unlike the conventional piston type of compressor, this Trane compressor employs a scroll type of operation. In the sealed housing, two scrolls work in the way of a high-speed pump to compress the refrigerant gas. This design translates to a 4-ton capacity (approximately 48,000 BTUH), which is perfect for spaces that need a lot of cooling.
