Trane COL28447 Evaporator Coil Assembly

The Trane COL28447 is designed to be an evaporator coil assembly that is contained within most split system air conditioners and a myriad of also air handlers. Evaporator coils are an essential component in the cooling system of an air conditioning system. The warm inside air is then passed over the fins- and tubes of the evaporator. In the tubes flows the refrigerant, a low boiling point fluid. When warm moist air touches the colder coil then heat can be transferred from the air to the refrigerant gas to cool the air making the refrigerant hot gaseous.
