Trane COL16279 Coil Assembly With Drain Pan

The Trane COL16279 is a pre-assembled 1 coil assembly with a drain pan for easy installation into the Trane HVAC systems. This component is an essentialpart of the process of cooling. The evaporator coil which is made of aluminum is a heat exchanger that is highly durable. The blower fan blows air that is warm across the coil’s fins. Refrigerant moving through the coil takes heat from the air thus cooling it. Condensate, obtained when water in the environment makes contact with the cold coil, falls directly into the drain pan. The drain pan directs this condensate far from the unit to avoid any water harm and to forestall rust.
