The Trane CNT4990 is an air pressure control switch for safe and efficient operation in a variety of HVAC systems. This SPST switch has a special positive connector for secure electrical connection. It also has a mounting bracket for easy installation. With a power rating of 28 VA at 24 volts, it’s a perfect fit for normal control applications in your HVAC system. The Trane is an automatic on/off switch based on air pressure. The switch opens or closes its internal contacts when the air pressure in the system achieves a particular level, such as 0.26" of water column, completing or interrupting an electrical circuit. For a variety of HVAC applications, this precision control can be used.
