The Carrier EA36UZ924 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a metering part that is used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil of refrigerants that are charged with R410-A. In HVAC systems it is installed on the inlet of the evaporator and varies the refrigerant depending on variations in superheat, to maintain optimum distribution of refrigerant and heat transfer. The valve is linked to the liquid line and sensing bulb in order to react to the conditions of the load. It enables the continuous operation of cooling, regulates the flow of the refrigerant, increasing efficiency of the system.
