The Carrier 328154-701 Drain trap which is used for HVAC equipment, high-efficiency furnaces in particular. This compact trap, which is approximately 2.1 inch long, 3.1 inch wide, and 0.9 inch in height. While in use, your furnace cools water vapor in the air and turns it into condensation. The condensate produced by the drain trap is to control the flow of the water out of the furnace so that it does not flow backwards into the system.
