Hydrotherm BM-8142 Natural Gas Ignition Module

The Hydrotherm BM-8142 Natural Gas Ignition Module manages the automatic ignition sequence, gas control and flame monitoring in natural gas boilers. Installed within the main electrical compartment of HVAC systems, its internal circuit board processes thermostat calls to trigger the pilot or direct spark ignition sequence. Once the sensor verifies a stable flame signal the module holds the gas valve open to maintain active combustion. Controlling safety timing and system lockouts prevents unburned gas accumulation supporting safe burner operation and continuous heating performance.
