The Trane HTR15184 Heater Belt with the diameter of 6-7” and with the voltage of 575VAC is a specific crankcase heater used to keep refrigerant from entering the compressor’s crankcase during the off-cycle for better efficiency and longer equipment lifeduration of HVAC systems. It has a power rating of 70-75 watts and is capable of regulating temperature within the compressor especially in cold environment to avoid damage from flooded refrigerant. This heater belt is 7” long and is easy to install while being reliable in many different HVAC applications.
