The Carrier HT32BH858 is named a crankcase heater which is an essential part of Carrier HVAC equipment with crankcases most probably large compressors in refrigerators or industrial air conditioners. This is a long and wide heating element that goes round the crankcase to ensure it gets warm during startup or cold weather.
