The Armstrong International 881-3/4-15 3/4" Steam Trap 15 PSI is a mechanical condensate removal unit used in steam-based boilers, and distribution networks to automatically, separate and discharge condensate and retain live steam at pressures as high as 15 PSI. It relies on internal thermostatic or mechanical components to detect the presence of condensate and close or open the discharge path to ensure that the flow of steam is efficient. It is installed in line with the steam piping at the designated connections and connected with the steam and return lines.
