The Resideo AM101-US-1LF thermostatic mixing valve regulates water temperature and ranges from 70°F to 145°F. It is mostly used in HVAC systems to prevent hot water scalding and to produce clean water for both domestic, business, and industrial use. This valve mixes both the cold and hot water to the desired temperature and the temperature does not change even if the pressure of the water changes. Some of its features include: It does not contain lead; it has two check valves; and has a brass body that is coated with Teflon to avoid the formation of minerals. The valve is easy to use, it comes with union sweat connection, and hardly needs any form of maintenance.
