The Trane ADP1161 Adapter Rover USB is a communication interface component, which is utilized to bridge support tools and equipment control systems. The adapter translates USB communication signals into the protocol of COMMM4 to enable diagnostic or configuration program to interact with control boards utilized in HVAC systems. It is connected to a computer via the USB interface and to the equipment communication port via the pathway of the connection of the COMMM4.
