The Beckett Igniter 2140501U ADC Pump/Motor Coupling Kit is used to connect the drive motor to the pump in burner or combustion blower assemblies and is designed to transmit torque to initiate fluid or air flow. This type of coupling is applied in HVAC systems to the motor shaft and the pump input to absorb minor misalignment and vibration without stopping the rotation. It is fitted by removing the old coupling and attaching the new one with set screws on the same shaft diameters.
