The Carrier KH71KN161 Accumulator is an essential component in HVAC systems that protects the compressor in the event of a high refrigerant charge and also, prevents liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor. Made from bi-metal, this accumulator has dimensions of 5 x 14.1 x 4.9 inches. It comes with a 7/8” connection suitable for sweat or braze connection to make it easier to install.
