Armstrong International A9739 Thermostat Air Vent

This Armstrong International A9739 Thermostat Air Vent is suitable for use with “A”, “K”, “J”, and “L” series float and thermostatic steam traps that are used at a pressure of between 30-175 psi. This air vent is fitted with a pressure-balanced phosphor-bronze thermostatic wafer made of stainless steel that expels air and CO2 through a specific outlet orifice. Its temperature range is 20 to 250°F, and its connections are 3/8” FEM NPT, so it is suitable for most HVAC systems, including hydronic heating. The automatic operation reduces the frequency of maintenance, increases the efficiency of the system, and reduces the accumulation of air thereby increasing heat output and comfort.
