The A.J. Antunes 8023202259 Differential Pressure Switch detects pressure changes across draft induction or ventilation pathways in air handling equipment. Mounted inside heating systems and air units, the switch connects to sensing positions via built-in barb fittings. When differential pressure reaches the 0.15" WC threshold, internal air pressure moves a sensitive diaphragm to actuate an electrical snap-switch. Closing the electrical contact and sends a verification signal to main control board to ensure safe operation in HVAC system before initiating burner ignition or the heating cycles.
