The Lennox 99W60 ECM Motor is an energy efficient replacement part for improving airflow in light commercial and residential Lennox HVAC systems, mainly furnaces and air handlers. Unlike conventional motors, this new design incorporates ECM motor technology for enhanced efficiency and low noise. It has a fan that operates at variable speeds depending on whether the unit is heating or cooling, due to the ECM technology. This motor gets instructions from your thermostat and interprets them as variable speeds. This makes it possible to control the flow of air in your building in a way that will suit the various sections of your building.
