Copeland 998-0213-02 Unloader Valve/Coil 120V

The Copeland 998-0213-02 is an unloader valve and coil combo vital for refrigerant flow control in refrigeration systems. Essentially, it uses a 120-volt electromagnetic coil to regulate the unloader valve. So when the compressor is not under load, the coil operates the valve which bypasses high pressure to compressor, reducing pressure on internal parts. This process of unloading protects compressor against start-up & off cycles and minimizes wear. This unloader valve/coil set has been designed especially for Copeland scroll compressors found in air conditioning units, heat pumps and commercial refrigeration systems as well as others.
