Copeland 971-0064-05 Overload Protector Module 115V-230V/50HZ 120V-240V/60HZ

The Copeland 971-0064-05 has been designed primarily for HVAC compressors to protect them against electrical faults. It runs well on a wide voltage span and 120V to 240V at 60Hz. It carries a current of not more than five amps. Its temperature range is between -40°F to 150°F. The overload protection device measures the electric current going through the compressor. When the current gets too high indicating that there is overheating or other problems with it then the module will stop supplying power to this machine because this is how you avoid damage.
