SWT3245
The Trane SWT3245 pressure switch is a safety and efficiency device for many HVAC systems. The current rating of this SPST switch is 18 amps, sufficient to handle common HVAC loads, and the quick-disconnect connection makes for fast installation. The SWT3245 functions as an automatic on/off switch by monitoring the air pressure within the system. In this case, the switch completes the electrical circuit when the pressure reaches a predetermined level, 0.94" of water column. However, it will disconnect the circuit if pressure drops below the operational limits or rises above the overpressure safety rating of 14 In-Wc. This precise pressure control prevents your HVAC equipment from any damage from low or high-pressure levels.
