Copeland 922-0001-00 Mounting Adaptor

The Copeland 922-0001-00 Mounting Adaptor is a component that allows newer Copeland ZR scroll compressors to be installed in existing HVAC systems that were originally designed for BR scroll compressors. In air conditioning and refrigeration systems, these compressors perform an essential task, which is to circulate refrigerant throughout the unit. Thus, with this adaptor in place, upgrading from BR to ZR models becomes easier without making significant changes to the dimensions of the overall system. It includes all required mounting bolts used to attach securely ZR compressor onto the adaptor and this then connects back to already existing BR compressor mounts as would they have been there before it. Henceforth making sure there are no difficult constructions required thus saving time when it comes changing HVAC system frames or structures at all.
