The Copeland 918-0009-00 crankcase heater is to maintain optimal temperatures in the compressor crankcase so that reliable performance is ensured and refrigerant migration reduced. This heater has a simple installation procedure because it has a bolt-on type. It’s especially ideal for HVAC systems including heat pumps and air conditioners since its working temperature range is between 10°C and 15°C (50°F to 59°F).
