The Daikin-McQuay 910102156 is a 3/4-ton compressor used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The refrigerant gas is compressed to raise its temperature and pressure for it to function. Following its passage through a condenser coil, the hot, high-pressure gas releases heat into the surrounding air. Making it suitable for applications like walk-in coolers, freezers, and large comfort cooling systems.  An expansion valve is used to further lower the temperature and pressure of the cooled, low-pressure refrigerant.
