The Lennox 82A53 is an electrical heating element that is an essential part of electric heating system, for example, furnaces and air handlers. It simply takes an electrical current and turns this into heat through the use of resistance. When energized, the element gets hot and emits heat into the air stream that is circulated all over the building. It has a power rating of 4.5 kW and a resistance of 11.96 ohms, and it works on the normal electrical supply of 240V.
