The ASCO 8220G025 2-Way Solenoid Valve Steam/Hot Water Brass is used to control the flow of fluids through the piping in HVAC systems. This is a normally closed valve with a 1" NPT body that is rated at 125 PSI and is energised by 120 V/60Hz or 110 V/50Hz power currents to open when needed and permits the passage of fluid as needed by the system. It is applied in heating and steam distribution circuits where flow actuation should be controlled to regulate the temperature. This fluid control system responds to electrical signals to control the flow.
