Carrier 8216006 Motor 208-230/460V1-Phase 1075RPM

The Carrier 8216006 is a permanent split capacitor or PSC motor which is an extremely popular component in many HVAC equipment such as air conditioners, heat pumps, and chillers. This motor is used to operate fans or compressors in a given system to facilitate adequate airflow as well as refrigerant flow within that system. Its flexibility is in the sense that it can operate on either 208-230V or 460V single phase. The motor has a rotation rate of 1075 RPM and can take a current of between 1.25 and 2.5 amperes, and is ideal for use in half-horsepower (1/2 HP) applications.
