The ASCO 8215B50-24V 1” N/C Solenoid Valve is an electromechanical valve used in HVAC systems, mainly used in those applications where accurate shut off is required. This is normally a closed valve that works under pressure between 0-25 PSI and it is powered by 24V with brass body and stainless steel trim to ensure that it is not easily corroded. When activated, the solenoid lifts a plunger to enable the flow of fluid while when deactivated it closes the orifice to prevent the flow of the fluid enhancing safety.
