The Asco 8210G27 is a 1-inch normally closed solenoid valve intended for use in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. This multipurpose valve regulates the flow of multiple fluids, such as water up to 225 psi, light oil up to 115 psi , and air up to 300 psi . When the valve is in its ordinarily closed position, it stays closed until an electrical signal is sent, at which point it opens to allow fluid to flow. The 8210G27 has a pilot-operated design, meaning that a bigger main valve is controlled by a smaller solenoid valve. This architecture makes it possible to operate dependably and smoothly even under high pressure. The valve has an NBR seal for fluid compatibility and a brass body for longevity.
