The Lennox 74N47 Hot Surface Ignitor is an essential replacement component of the Lennox gas furnace or boiler. Used to ignite the gas burner and it begins the combustion process by producing a spark. When the furnace control board sends a heat request, the ignitor glows red hot and causes the gas that is passing through the burner tube to ignite.
