The Lennox 71G35 Fuse is a replaceable safety device is rated at 125 volts and 3.5 AMPS. This is often found in HVAC systems. Its use is to protect electrical circuits from current levels that are dangerous to expensive components of a circuit. If the current goes beyond 3.5 AMP, then the fuse blows. This interruption takes place when the fuse blows and melts to prevent further increase in temperature, which is capable of causing damage to other parts of the HVAC system.
