The Robertshaw 712-016 3/4" Intermittent Pilot Ignition System Kit is used to start gas burners in a furnace element using a 24V non-lockout intermittent pilot system. It has a pilot burner, ignitor and control block to initiate and test ignition before the main gas valve is opened. It is 3/4" connected to the burner assembly, the thermostat and the gas valve to step through ignition and flame sensing. It ensures that systems start safely and burn steadily in residences and small organisations during regular heating, by providing ignition and a consistent pilot flame.
