The Hydrolevel 711CF is a 120-volt low water cut-off (LWO) switch with a sight glass and a 35-psi pressure rating, specifically developed for hydronic heating systems. It serves as an essential safety mechanism to stop possible water shortage-related boiler damage. A mercury tilt switch and a float mechanism are both included in the LWO switch. When the boiler's water level falls below a safe threshold, the float activates the tilt switch, which turns off the boiler's electricity. So, the boiler is kept from running without adequate water circulation, protecting it from overheating and probable component failure. The sight glass, a clear window on the side of the apparatus, makes it possible to see the boiler's water level.
